PENNY POWER FACTS |

Penny Power raises money for MCC projects
of peace, relief and development around the world. |

Water is wealth in northern China. According to
Chinese lore, when a young woman wants to marry, her
family first checks how many water cisterns the
potential family has. MCC is helping to address the lack
of water problem by constructing cisterns and educating
and training the farmers.

EDUCATION |

|
Beginning Monday, September 8, and continuing every Monday
evening in September, Maple Grove will host a four-week seminar
focused on parenting entitled, Beyond Consequences, Logic, and
Control. Herschell Hargrave from the Christian Children’s Home
of Ohio will be the speaker for the seminar. Although the
seminar is primarily focused on parenting, adults who have grown
children will also find the seminar helpful. The seminar will be
from 7-9:00 p.m. on the four Mondays in September. Registration
